Pirozhki Day- 8 October

On 8 October, the International Day of Pirozhki is celebrated. The Pirozhki is a stuffed pastry dish originating in Eastern Europe.
The Pirozhki is a bun of fried or baked yeast dough filled with meat, potatoes, cabbage, onions, eggs, fish, steamed vegetables and more.
This is how it is written in Russian: пирожки.
There are different styles in different kitchens, such as in the Caucasian kitchen where they are usually filled with potatoes and sold as fast food.
Balkan cuisine fills it with different things and sells it mainly as fast food. In the Balti kitchen it becomes a crescent shaped (like croissant), made from baked bread dough, and filled with onions and pork, potatoes, mushrooms and cabbage. Latvians also serve sweet versions of Pirozhki.
In Central Asian countries, such as Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, the Persian is a popular fast food that they knew from the Russians. People of non-Russian origin also prepare a verse at home.
In Mongolia, too, they like to make piroshki in many houses.
In the Romanian kitchen there is a dish with a similar name, Piroşcă, which is deep-fried dough with fried onions and stuffed with potatoes. The Pirozhki is served hot or very hot.

National Kitchen Klutzes of America Day- June 13

June 13 is the day  that dedicated annualy to those of us who find it difficult to function in the kitchen (as cooks, not as eaters). For people who have left hands and utter incompetence when it comes to cooking, baking and food preparation.

When I look at my friends Facebook and Instagram pages, I see endless images of culinary creations. Impressive cakes, cupcakes, patties, pasta, bread and all the dishes in the world, of course, with very complicated receipes. It seems that everyone around knows how to cook and bake like a world-class chef. They are so successful and talented.

The date June 13 is dedicated to those transparent people, those who have nothing to be proud about. This is the day to remember that there are people among us who always spill too much salt or forget to spice, their cake will always rise and then get thin as plywood, they always put too much or too little water, always will burn them in the stew. So now embrace them and cherish them and tell them that it's OK not to know how to cook, and if they don't like to do it, they don't have to prove anything to anyone.
FOOD FAILS

Amazing cleaning hack- I use it all the time!

If you have burnt pots and pans and you tried unsuccessfully to clean them for hours, than you must try this easy way:
Add a little detergent and water, boil for 20 minutes, cool it and remove the dirt easily. Amazing!!!!
