Unfriend Day- 17th November

How many friends do you have on facebook? How many of them do you realy know and consider as friends?
The Unfriend day is the day to make your list of friends shorter and based on the quality, not the quantity.

So who are the people you should unfriend today? warning: this is an unfriendly post but with a humor. Don't take it seriously.

If you have a lot of friends on facebook, you probably know how it feels when you have more than 200 facebook friends but only 10% respond to your post. Unfriend those trolls! 

When you have too many friends, you probably know this annoying friends that post pictures of their kids sitting on the audience chairs in the theatre and watching movies. Every time it's a different movie but the same kids, the same picture. Unfriends those nuts!

You have thoe friends that when there's a post about something terrible that happened and they find it as an opportinity to advertise their business in comments? Unfriends those tactless!

You have those friends who post things like "good news coming soon" or "lol" and you don't understand what are they talking about? Hey, your wall is not a film trailer! Unfriend those mysteries people!

You have those friends who share posts about missing boy from 2013? unfriend those non-current- people!

You have those friends that when you write a smart and witty post and get only 4 likes, they post "I'm tired" and get 1,000,000 likes. Unfriend these popular people! they're only make you jelous!

I don't know what happens in your country, but in mine, when someone post something that smells like left political view, he gets curses and condemnation and people wish him to die. There is no freedom of speech in facebook. Unfriend people who are not tolerant to other people opinions.

You have those friends who post their selfie and write a beatiful statement. Okay, you're beautiful and smart. Unfriend these people- they only make you lookk ugly!

You have those friends whom you talked to only one time, and than you received a friend request from them and you confirmed and now you have to see all their lives in front of you, all their family, all the things they eat, all the places they're are going, like you care, Unfriend these people? who are they anyway?

You have those friends that write you "How are you?" In response to your uploaded image. What do you want? to start a conversation about my sucks life? ask me on private! Unfriend these annoying people!

So you deleted a lot of friends, and now you see that the number of friends got smaller and you don't know who you cancelled and who cancelled you, now you have to deal with this unknowing truth and maybe it's not such a nice feeling. But it's ok, you don't need fake friends in your life.

What do you feel when someone doesn't confirm your friend request on facebook?

I'm learning a course and the  lecturer opened a Facebook group.

The group is very active and fun to attend and I got some friendship suggestions from friends in the group. I saw that some students have become members of the lecturer. I do not know exactly how much, I think four, maybe more.

Then suddenly I got confidence and I sent a friend request to the lecturer. I thought if he confirmed them, so why not me? So I clicked on "Send a friend request" and I was sure it would be OK.

And he did not confirm me as a friend.

The truth is that I didn't really want to be his friend, I only wanted my friends to see that line informing he is my friend on Facebook.

It's been a week and nothing. There is no confirmation and there is no reference to the request I sent.

And it's not that he is not on Facebook and doesn't see my request. He enters and responds every day, even several times a day. He doesn't even care that I see he's active and ignore my request.

It drives me crazy.

Why did he confirm the rest and me not?

I'm not pretty enough, I'm not interesting, I don't have anything to offer, everything goes through my head. Maybe he thinks I have a crush on him? What does he think I would do now? a Fatal Attraction? lol .... he wished... I have no intentions to court him and there's no romantic intention. Not that I know.

I am now working hard to rebuild my self-esteem. I'm going for a walk and hear lectures about female empowerment on my cell phone headsets. I'm standing in front of the mirror and say to myself that I'm beautiful, I'm doing exercises at home while I recited over and over that I'm smart, cute and interesting.

It's been a week and it still bothers me. As annoying buzzing in the ear: "Why did he not confirm me."

I look at that woman he did confirm. She is so beautiful. So smart, studied at the university abroad and knows three languages. Of course he will approve her. Where have I learned? at the Open University and then a few courses here and there. 

And the other three he confirmed? they don't seem to me such brilliant. So why them and not me?!?

Well, never mind, at least it gives me a motivation to diet.

Tweets are something you do in Twitter and it has nothing to do with birds. Were getting fat and unhealthy, watching too much tv.

It's my birthday

Birthday is not such a great day. Some people wish you a happy birthday, like it's a day that you have to be happy all time, but this is not true. To be honest, this day is a little burden and I'm glad it's over.

It begins with blessings on Facebook. Suddenly you receive greetings from friends on Facebook you do not even know. People you do not know put greeting cards and pictures and congratulate you with all their hearts, while some people you do know well do not congratulate you at all. 

So you ask yourself why didn't they write you something on your wall. Maybe you should unfriend them? Maybe they hate you or they are disgusting people? Maybe they did were'nt on facebook or did not notice that you have a birthday? so you spend some time in this special day on these thoughts....

Besides the world acts as if everything is normal. You walk down the street and think to yourself how much fun you have a birthday. But that does not interest the bus driver that splashes you water puddle, or a saleswoman that ignores you, or the service phone representatives that let you wait forever on the line and then just trying to sell you instead of treating you right.

Who said that a birthday is a happy day that means you're starting a new better year? Maybe there are people who are supposed to die on their birthday because they have reached the age that they are not supposed to go on.

It's true that on your birthday you get some attention and some nice gifts and maybe you have a party or go to celebrate in a restaurant, but I prefer the ordinary days when I don't have a reason to celebrate.

There are some people who love their birthday and have fun and feel happy about it. Maybe that's an optimistic attitude to life, an opportunity to say thank you you were born and thanks for everything you got. So this is what I do. I say thank you for everything I have in my life and this is a lot!
